All Aboard! For an exciting Chattanooga meet in the Spring of 2012 that you will not forget. Our host hotel is the famous Chattanooga Choo-Choo. What began in 1908 as Chattanooga’s train station has been converted into a hotel with all the amenities! In addition to the hotel’s standard rooms, there are also 48 rooms in railroad Pullman cars! The special room rate is $99/night plus taxes (does not include suites or the Pullman cars). The rate applies to the nights of May 16-May 19. Make your reservations by calling the hotel at 423-266-5000. Mention the Southern Region LCOC to get the special rate. The rail cars will be the first to go! The deadline for hotel reservations at this special rate is April 25, 2012.

KILLIAN/ HUFFMAN TOUR—SATURDAY FEBRUARY 25th at 10:30

The Southern Region and newly formed Carolinas chapter of the CCCA will visit two collections, and have lunch between, in the Hickory area of North Carolina.

The Killian event begins at 10:30 AM and the Huffman event at 1:00 PM. Come for both, or meet us at the Huffman Collection of Lincolns and other items, if you prefer.

Killian Hardware in Hickory is operated by the 3rd and 4th generation of the family. It’s where customers come to shop, visit and enjoy old-fashioned popcorn. And on this special day of the year, tour their collection of antique cars, area history, and memorabilia from eras past.

The Huffman collection, begun by father Bert and now continued on by his son Lee in Granite Falls, is well known for the stunning Lincolns of all years, and most notably one of the finest Zephyr collections ever assembled. In addition are fire trucks and other autos-- with space to make them easy to enjoy.
