David Hardee - Profile

Dave Hardee was a Southern Region LCOC member back in the early 1990's. He dropped his membership while in graduate school at the University of South Carolina , and re-joined the region in 2003. He has held several positions within our region since that time, and is currently the Region's  Membership Chairman and Manager for the State of South Carolina. He is the owner of an almost mint 1984 Versace edition Continental Mark VII. Dave has also been active in the National LCOC, most recently as the former Chairman of the Website Committee. Between this and his membership in the Lincoln Mark VII Club, Dave squeezes in just enough time for his full-time career as a Funeral Director, and a smidge of a personal life left over with Sam, his partner of 16 years, and 2 very active Dachshunds.
"Our region is certainly more fortunate than most other regions in terms of the length of our driving season. It's my hope that we'll take fuller advantage of this extended driving time to assemble as a group or small groups as we're able and enjoy our wonderful cars. We need to cherish the unique and treasured fellowships that we all develop as members of the Southern Region." His Lincolns have included a 1960 Lincoln Premiere Coupe, 1963 and 1966  Lincoln Continental sedans ,  a 1973 and 1976  Lincoln Town Car and 2 1984 Lincoln Mark VII's. His daily driver is, curiously enough, a  2008 Toyota Prius hybrid that averages 45 m.p.g.!
